HI, I found your site on Facebook. My Leake family started out as Leaque, then became Leak and then Leake. Do you have information about your name origins? My Great Grandmother Delia (Morrison) Leak(e) came across the plains in a covered wagon from Illinois and lived in a sod house for a time. My Grandfather Howard Leake was born in Gage Oklahoma. I know there are still family members in Illinois somewhere though I don't know them. Most of my family lives in Washington state now.
I've sent a longer message...just want to do a general tag from the Leake family in Toronto, Ontario Canada, through genealogy connected to Leakes in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and New Jersey, so far. Cool website!!

Hi Leake's. I and a bunch of Leake's are here in the Greater Houston area. I've done lots of genealogy, plus I'm on Facebook too (under my name). We used to live in N.Dallas, just north of Trinity Mills & 2 blocks east of Midway.

HI, found your site after a randome google search. Thought would just drop by and say hi. I am from a family of Leakes that originally stemmed from around the Birmingham area. UK.
Not much of the Leakes left as name died out when my parents passed away. All my fathers siblings had girls so end of the name i guess. There are lost branches of our tree going back but am struggling tracing them. getting there very slowly.
anyways enough of my ramblings , love from the UK to all you leakes!!!
