Camden attended a British Soccer Camp during the week of July 7th-July 11th. The children were divided up by age and coached by a soccer player from the UK. Camden’s coach was Marc, a player from Scotland. The week included practice sessions, group activities & games, soccer scrimmages, and culminated with a thorough soaking under a fire truck hose. Camden had a fantastic time and plans to return next summer.
Camden had a small party at Chuck E. Cheese’s on the morning of his birthday. He enjoyed a multitude of games, pizza, and cake. Camden received quite a bit of money from Uncle Denny, Aunt GG, Grandma Carolyn, and Grandpa Steve for his piggy bank. He also received a PSP from his Uncle Brian and a few toys from John and I. Later in the evening, we went to Medieval Times to celebrate his birthday further. Uncle Denny had Camden and Dawson knighted. It was the funniest thing to watch - neither child knew what in the world was going on and they were so reluctant to approach the “King.” Camden’s birthday and Dawson’s knightship were announced later in the show.
The following are a few of the pictures from the evening. Fun was had by all!
